Why will we be talking about Creatio?
Maybe because:
1. We are official certified partners of Creatio at the international level; we customize the platform and do complex integrations of this CRM platform with other systems so they can work together.
2. We are also users of this platform for our own company and can tell you, through experience, the details from the inside. Is it difficult to make the transition to this platform? How easy is it to customize it to your own needs? We are an open book about Creatio and all it can do for a company seeking an all-in-one solution in a CRM and a business process automation platform.
What is Creatio?
This system can do a lot!
Creatio is a powerful low-code/no-code platform that combines BPM (Business Process Management) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management). Creatio’s BPMs and CRMs are easy to configure and do not require developers on staff for basic setups. Three months of employee training assures the knowledge required to properly make the most out of Creatio.
The low-code/no-code philosophy itself, though not a totally new idea, has exploded in popularity in recent years. Why? Mainly, because of the severe shortage of developers. Programmers are not easy to have, it’s a challenge to find and to keep them. In Creatio is a platform with light code that doesn’t require programmers most of the time. A company can purchase add-ons in the Creatio Marketplace which can make Creatio a more complete set customized to your needs, much like a Lego set for kids (and Creatio has a very broad network of partners that develop finished templates for a variety of business tasks) and then configure it by themselves.
Besides, Creatio is designed to unite sales, marketing, customer service, as well as all internal routine business tasks in a single digital environment, which is very convenient for a manager. All business processes are in one place.
Where They Came from
In general, this is originally a Ukrainian company that has come a long way: from a small team that worked with small businesses, they have grown into a serious company, entered the top of the world industry rankings by Gartner and Forrester, gained recognition from private and state corporations, and are building into a completely different level of doing business.
The development headquarter is still located in Ukraine, but the sales headquarter with 600 employees is now in Boston.
The secret of success, our analysts say, lies in the perfectly scalable architecture. They have succeeded in what has stalled a popular platform as Bitrix.
How Our Cooperation Began
ITQsoftware works mainly with medium and large businesses, we are engaged in digitalization, process automation, and it is very important for us to find the best solution for our clients. We have been studying the market for a long time, analyzing platforms, testing various CRM systems. As a result we chose Creatio because of the following competitive advantages:
- Ability to deal with sales, marketing, customer service and that can conduct all internal business processes in a single digital environment
- Modularity and adaptivity
- Creatio is convenient to work with demands and requests from clients
- Easy paperwork
Besides, Creatio’s position in the main Industry Analyst site’s ratings played a significant role for us: Creatio grows, strengthens its position, and every year more and more companies choose this platform to develop their business.
So we got interested in Creatio.
And then – well, it was actually a matter of being in the right place at the right time! During a business trip to the U.S. we got in touch with the head of Creatio’s partner network via Linkedin, and a meeting transpired. We met, and we decided that we were compatible and the rest is history!
This was in 2019, Creatio was just reaching a new level at the time – collaboration with large corporations and banks. While working with a small business which uses only one CRM system, there is no need for integration. But when interacting with a bank which uses dozens of different CRM systems for its various needs, the question of how to teach Creatio to “talk” to all the other systems already existing in the project immediately arose. At that time Creatio had a wide partner network, but mostly they were small IT companies with no experience in complex integration.
For ITQsoftware, various integration projects is a daily reality. We have the necessary expertise, we know what to do, and are well able to do it. Mutual interest led to a full-fledged cooperation. We entered the partner ecosystem quite quickly and now have an official registration on Creatio’s website.
We constantly have about five projects of Creatio customization and integration.
What about Our Own Experience?
As promised, we are opening the door to our own workspace: we decided not only to install Creatio systems for our customers (we ourselves are advanced, relevant and all about the digitalization with automation), but we ourselves now switch to using Creatio product in terms of business management, namely we are transferring the whole process of recruitment to this platform.
How did we do it in our infancy? Up to a certain point, we did all the work (recruiting, searching and onboarding of developers by different stacks, from the vacancy to the placement of an employee on the project) in Trello and Excel, and this was convenient: Excel is very flexible, it is also like a Lego, in which you can quickly assemble the necessary functionality. Trello is generally our favorite tool. But, we are growing. When ITQsoftware databases have outgrown 2000 people and it became necessary for several people to work with these tables at the same time, it got difficult for us to track and store the information. And the cherry on the cake: as soon as several people need to work in Excel, it becomes a hazardous scenario – one careless move can kill the work of another person. It just doesn’t allow you to change anything at the same time.
And then we looked in the direction of Creatio’s BPM (Business Process Management System is software that allows you to optimize business processes, namely to automate repetitive, routine tasks. Creatio partner community created a lot of ready extensions and templates, which allow using the best business management practices and faster implementation of new tools into the company’s work). We chose a ready-made Creatio Recruitment template and are currently in the process of setting up the platform and migrating all the data there. We will tell you about the process of implementing the system as we go along. All honest, with failures and successes. Stay tuned for our news!
