Beginning is here: CRM system. Selection and setup. General information.
Category 1.
Very cool guys. As the best, they keep their data in a cloud or in the worst case on the local machine of the boss forgetting to make a backup. When a computer or cloud crashes, then the business gets stuck or starts over, really from zero. The guilty one is the hard drive and internet provider, but definitely not the boss. Usually, they don’t count money because in order to make this Mega system work, an IT worker is needed who keeps everything alive. It’s really flushing money down the drain. Moreover, efficiency falls down dramatically.
Once we’ve calculated that, if in the company four salesmen work with this Mega system, then after installing the CRM system, two of them can be fired and an IT person can be fired too. They can hire a freelancer with hourly payment who would support the system and the company will save up to $2,000 monthly (by Moscow standard). Actually, it’s not like that. Not save – earn $2,000 – 3,000 extra. It means this is a category of very “rich” entrepreneurs. Of course, if just 4-10 clients are involved in a business communication, then this is enough; a CRM is definitely not needed. Moreover, it is harmful. In all other cases, it makes life easier. Just possessing CRM is not enough, it should work as well.
